There are many ways that you can help us to continue to support survivors of domestic abuse
We are extremely grateful to those who wish to fundraise in aid of Dawns New Horizon.
We cannot meet the needs of our clients without your support.
Please drop in the hub or drop us an email to share you fundraising activities so we can work together to make it happen.
We are currently seeking support to realise the vision of a DNH safe house.
Passed fundraising has included:

Coffee mornings
Jumble sales
We are always in need of clean unbroken and complete items to sell in the shop including clothing, jigsaws, toys and household items.

We have a team of 25+ volunteers who support DNH in numours ways form sorting donations for the shop to fundraising.

DNH Safe House
For a long time now, we have dreamed of creating a safe, warm home for people who have had to flee domestic abuse. A place where they can breathe again, feel protected and begin to rebuild their lives with dignity, and hope. This would be a temporary stay, until a safe home is found.
We have been steadily raising money for this vision for several years now and have reached the point of making this plan know top try and realise the vision in 2026.
Based on current market prices we believe the minimum we need to get this project across the line is £150,000 to secure the property and an additional £5-£10,000 to get it fully secured and prepared for use.
We annual running costs in the region of £4000.
